Lid and container have gaps

I purchased several Dalcini items to make the switch from plastic to metal. The items look very nice and for the most part are well designed. I reached out to customer service about the issue sandwich square container having a lid and container base that have gaps. This seems like a defect. Unfortunately, I haven't had any response from the customer service team (even after a follow up e-mail) and it has been over two weeks.

The size of the sandwich square container is a good size for lunch. I wish mine closed better.

The perfect container for my childrens’ snacks and lunch

Plastic free, durable, dishwasher safe, and a perfect fitting top- there’s not much more to ask for! The size is perfect for a sandwich or any type of snack/fruit. Granted, the container is not for liquids, but you don’t have to worry about any silicone seal falling out like other stainless steel containers either.

Yes. They're made easy to open for kids at school, but still with a tight seal.

  • Oven: Yes, up to 450 degrees.
  • Microwave: No. Metal products should never go in the microwave.

Note: Our stainless steel products heat up rapidly. So we recommend reducing the oven temperature compared to reheating in glass or ceramic.

Not 100%. The containers have a tight seal, however, they are not designed for liquids such as soup.

When using thicker contents such as yogurt, we recommend using lunch bags that hold the contents upright to minimize any risk of a leak.

Yes! With DALCINI™ Stainless, there is no risk of absorption of foods. Once the containers are washed, they are sanitized. So no risk of cross-contamination between foods.

No. Our containers are made of 100% stainless steel. The metallic taste comes from aluminum or when stainless steel is mixed with aluminum.
