Our Commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

At Dalcini Stainless, we are committed to creating innovative food storage solutions that support human and environmental health, proving that convenience, safety, and sustainability can coexist.

We believe innovation is stronger when diverse perspectives are represented, and that businesses have a responsibility to create opportunities that reflect the communities they serve. These principles guide how we lead, collaborate, and grow our business.

As a woman-of-colour-founded company, Dalcini recognizes the value that diverse perspectives bring to innovation, leadership, and business success This belief shapes how we build relationships, make decisions, and create opportunities for others to contribute and succeed.

We recognize that building a more equitable and inclusive economy requires ongoing learning, action, and accountability. We are committed to making a positive impact in how we lead, hire, partner, communicate, and engage with our communities.

Our commitment includes:

  • Continuously strengthening our understanding of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and applying those principles throughout our business.

  • Fostering a culture where all people are treated with dignity, respect, and belonging.

  • Using inclusive and accessible language in our communications and business practices.

  • Supporting initiatives and partnerships that advance equity, representation, and opportunity within Canada's business and innovation ecosystems.

  • Reviewing our JEDI commitments regularly and incorporating them into our governance and continuous improvement processes.

We believe meaningful change is created through consistent action. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to building a business that contributes to a healthier, more inclusive, and more sustainable future

Our Commitment to Human Rights

At Dalcini Stainless, we believe the products in your home should be good for the people who make them and the places they come from. We are committed to respecting human rights and protecting the environment, both in our own work and throughout our supply chain. As a small company that sources materials and manufactures internationally, the choices we make about who we work with matter most, and we take that responsibility seriously.

We respect and support the following internationally recognised human rights frameworks:

In practice, we commit to:

  • Respect human rights and protect the environment across our operations and supply chain.

  • Identify and assess the actual and potential negative human rights impacts connected to our business, including in our procurement decisions.

  • Prevent and mitigate those impacts, and provide or enable access to remedy where we have caused or contributed to harm.

  • Allow no forced, bonded or trafficked labour, and no child labour, in our operations or supply chain.

  • Communicate openly about how we manage these risks.

If you have a concern about human rights or working conditions anywhere in our business or supply chain, you can raise it through [link to our grievance procedure]. We will not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

This commitment is owned and approved by our Owner and Founder, Nita Tandon, and is reviewed at least once a year.

Dalcini Stainless does not engage in lobbying. We do not attempt to influence legislation, regulation, or public policy; directly or through intermediary organizations. Lobbying and Political Contributions Statement

We do participate in our communities. We share knowledge with other businesses, contribute to research, show up for causes we believe in, and talk openly about the issues that matter to us; like supply chain challenges and opportunities, product safety and design, sustainability and impact, and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. We see these as part of being a good corporate citizen, not as efforts to influence government decision-making.

We do not engage in bribery or corrupt practices under any circumstances. If you have a concern about our conduct in this area, you can raise it through our Stakeholder Grievance Procedure, available on our website.

This statement is reviewed annually by our founder, Nita Tandon.
